Fischli and Wiess are artists who remove items that surround us in our day-to-day lives and then restructure their relationships to one another. “The artists aim neither to glorify nor alienate these common objects, but merely to create new references in which they might be considered.” A common way to describe this is dominoes using everyday objects. These progressions are filmed in one take due to some of the chemical reactions that take place.

I enjoy watching the domino effect that Fischli and Wiess create in their artwork. The use of some unconventional materials in their artworks allow me to broaden my thoughts of what I am able to use in my artwork.
