Daniel Sinsel creates small delicate photorealistic paintings creating illusions. This is one artist in the long battle between photography, a made object and painting. Chiascuro is often used strongly in his works to add emphasis to the realism. Innuendos and gestures are also often in his work, especially works that were from his MA. The role of the viewer plays a large part of the work within many of Daniel’s pieces.
